Memur-Sen announces increase requests – Bloomberg HT

Ali Yalçın, Chairman of Memur-Sen, announced their demands at the press conference.

Underlining that the increase in Seyyanen should be reflected to the retired civil servants, Yalçın said, “We demand a total increase of 110 percent in the two-year period within the scope of 2024-2025. However, we think that the increase of 8 thousand 77 TL should also be reflected to the retired civil servants.”

Listing the demands of the union, Yalçın said, “We think that the increase should be made in quarterly periods, not every 6 months. We demand 7 thousand 600 TL monthly rental assistance for public officials. We want an increase of 70 percent for 2024 and 40 percent for 2025. In January 2024, the lowest salary of civil servants should increase to 29 thousand 700 TL.”
