25 TIR emergency supplies from ITO to the earthquake zone

Istanbul Chamber of Commerce President Şekib Avdagiç said, “I call on the business world of Istanbul with all their might to show solidarity with our people in the region who were damaged by the earthquake and in need of help, and to contact the ITO Earthquake Coordination Center for this purpose.”

In the statement made by the ITO, which has more than 800 thousand members, the details of the emergency aid plan regarding the great earthquake disaster that occurred in Kahramanmaraş and affecting 10 provinces were included.

According to the information in the statement, the ‘ITO Earthquake Coordination Center’ has been established in the Atatürk Airport THY Cargo building, which ITO is doing institutionally and regarding the in-kind aids that will come from ITO members.

ITO Earthquake Coordination Center was organized in a 30 thousand m2 area to provide 24/7 uninterrupted service.

In his statement, Avdagic said, “Our members of the Istanbul Chamber of Commerce show a great example of solidarity and show that they stand by the people of the region with all their means. In a short time, we are sending our 25 trucks, which consist of the most needed materials in the earthquake region, to the region.”
