Adiyaman Governor Mahmut Çuhadar resigned

Adıyaman Governor Mahmut Çuhadar announced his resignation due to health problems.

Governor Çuhadar, in the message he published on the social media account of Adıyaman Governorship, reminded that he has been serving as the Governor of Adıyaman for about 3 years.

In his statement on social media, Çuhadar said, “I have asked for forgiveness from my duty as the Governor of Adıyaman due to the health problems I have experienced. I have full faith that the earthquake disaster we experienced on 06.02.2023 will be healed with the solidarity of the state and the nation.”

Governor Çuhadar drew criticism for his attitude towards earthquake victims after the earthquakes that stifled the country.
