Amendment by the CBRT in the regulation of payment and electronic money institutions

According to the Regulation Amending the Regulation on Payment Services and Electronic Money Issuance and Payment Service Providers published in the Official Gazette by the CBRT, on Payment Services and Electronic Money Issuance and Payment Service Providers published in the Official Gazette dated 1 December 2021 and numbered 31676. The phrases “until 30 June 2023” in the first, fifth, ninth, eleventh, seventeenth and eighteenth paragraphs of the temporary first article of the regulation have been changed to “until 30 September 2023”.

According to the amendment communiqué, in the first, second and third paragraphs of the temporary first article of the communiqué on Information Systems of Payment and Electronic Money Institutions and Data Sharing Services in the Field of Payment Services of Payment and Electronic Money Institutions published in the Official Gazette dated 1 December 2021 and numbered 31676, “Until 30 September 2023” were changed to “Until 30 September 2023”.

The amendment in the regulation and communiqué published in the Official Gazette entered into force.
