Business loan from EBRD and TSKB to Sapro

Wet wipes manufacturer Sapro has obtained a 10 million Euro, 4-year term operating loan for the working capital of Newipe®, a new generation sustainable viscose fabric.

The brand will use the funds provided by the joint venture of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the Industrial Development Bank of Turkey (TSKB) for the production of Newipe®, a new generation sustainable fabric.

Exporting its products to 65 countries and being one of the four largest manufacturers of private label wet wipes in Europe, Sapro will meet its working capital needs as well as the larger scale production of the new generation sustainable fabric with the funds provided.

Sapro Executive Board Member and Finance Director Coşkun Cellek underlined that sustainability is among Sapro’s priorities and said, “The business loan we provide for use in the production of new generation viscose fabric; It shows that our responsible and inclusive management approach in the field of sustainability, performance criteria, environmental and social impact management is also supported by international markets.
