Electricity prices in the spot market (12.05.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 15.5 percent compared to yesterday and became 929 million 950 thousand 231 liras.

The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 20.00, the highest at 20.00 for tomorrow, and 1250 liras at 06.00 at the lowest.

The arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 1897 liras 91 cents, and the weighted average price was 1910 liras 15 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was traded at 2,600 liras at the highest and 1250 liras at the lowest.
