Electricity prices in the spot market (20.05.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 15.3 percent compared to yesterday and became 736 million 803 thousand 593 liras.

The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 20.00, the highest at 20.00, and 740 liras and 1 kurus at the lowest at 11:00.

The arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 1787 liras 77 cents, and the weighted average price was 1797 liras 10 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was traded at 2 thousand 600 liras at the highest and at the lowest of 1249 liras at 98 cents.
