Electricity prices in the spot market (21.02.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 5.2 percent compared to yesterday and reached 1 billion 608 million 865 thousand 994 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 3 thousand 650 liras at 08.00, 09.00 and 17.00-20.00 hours for tomorrow, and 2 thousand 301 liras at 03:00 at the lowest.

The arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour electricity in the day-ahead market was 3 thousand 89 liras 19 cents, and the weighted average price was 3 thousand 116 liras 31 cents.

In the spot market, 1 megawatt hour of electricity was traded at the highest 3 thousand 650 liras and the lowest 2 thousand 50 liras.
