Electricity prices in the spot market (23.05.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 9.23 percent compared to yesterday and reached 1 billion 37 million 544 thousand 706 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 19.00-21.00 hours and 1525 liras at 07.00 at the lowest for tomorrow.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity was 2 thousand 37 liras 47 cents, and the weighted average price was 2 thousand 44 liras 51 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at the highest and 1590 liras at the lowest.
