Electricity prices in the spot market (24.04.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 6.1 percent compared to yesterday and reached 988 million 586 thousand 152 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at the highest 00.00, 01.00, 08.00 and 18.00-21.00 hours for tomorrow, and 1045 liras at the lowest 12.00 hours.

The arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 2 thousand 93 liras 77 cents, and the weighted average price was 2 thousand 85 liras 40 cents.

In the spot market, 1 megawatt hour of electricity was traded today at the highest 2 thousand 600 liras and the lowest 250 liras.
