Electricity prices in the spot market (24.05.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 3.4 percent compared to yesterday and became 1 billion 2 million 36 thousand 359 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 19.00-21.00 hours, and 1527 liras at 12:00 at the lowest.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity was 2 thousand 20 liras 47 cents, and the weighted average price was 2 thousand 28 liras 57 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at the highest and 1525 liras at the lowest.
