Electricity prices in the spot market (28.01.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 12.47 percent compared to yesterday and became 1 billion 610 million 1780 liras and 85 cents.

The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 4 thousand 200 liras at 18.00, the highest at 18.00, and 2 thousand 900 liras at the lowest hour at 23.00.

The arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 3 thousand 376 liras 65 cents, and the weighted average price of 3 thousand 388 liras 9 kurus.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was traded at the highest 4,200 lira and the lowest 2,50 lira 1 cent.
