Electricity prices in the spot market (28.02.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 17.3% compared to yesterday and became 1 billion 242 million 932 thousand 632 liras.

The price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 3 thousand 50 liras at 08.00 and 09.00, the highest for tomorrow, and 1749 liras and 99 cents at the lowest hour at 11:00.

The arithmetic average price of one megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was 2 thousand 556 liras 56 cents, and the weighted average price was 2 thousand 542 liras 31 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was traded at the highest 3 thousand 650 liras and the lowest 999 liras at 99 cents.
