Electricity prices in the spot market (29.05.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market increased by 8.72 percent compared to yesterday and reached 912 million 779 thousand 948 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 20.00 and 21.00 at the highest hours for tomorrow, and 1247 liras and 99 kurus at the lowest hours at 06.00 and 07.00.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity was 1868 liras 7 cents, and the weighted average price was 1890 liras 66 cents.

In the spot market, one megawatt hour of electricity was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at the highest and 604 liras at the lowest 48 kurus.
