Electricity prices in the spot market (31.03.2023)

According to the data of Energy Markets Operations Inc., the transaction volume in the spot electricity market decreased by 21 percent compared to yesterday and became 874 million 287 thousand 177 liras.

The price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity in the day-ahead market was determined as 2 thousand 600 liras at 04.00, 05.00, 18.00 and 20.00 at the highest hours and 553 liras at the lowest at 12.00 for tomorrow.

In the day-ahead market, the arithmetic average price of 1 megawatt-hour of electricity was 1948 lira 43 kurus, and the weighted average price was 1931 lira 6 kurus.

In the spot market, 1 megawatt hour of electricity was traded at 3 thousand 50 liras at the highest and at the lowest 1491 liras at 33 cents.
