Erdogan: We will relieve our people by lowering taxes

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made statements at the Drivers’ meeting in Istanbul.

Noting that as Turkey grows, becomes stronger and becomes richer, they prepare programs that will reflect the resource that emerges in the lives of each and every one of them, Erdoğan continued as follows:

“Here’s what we did after we brought the Black Sea gas to our country. Did we deliver the Black Sea gas to our people free of charge for a month? Did we announce to our people that we will give it to our people with a 25 percent discount in the kitchen for a year? Where is the next one? Gabar. Hopefully, from the moment we extract the Gabar oil, our people will also get it. “What will it do? It will benefit. When we enrich the oil we found in Gabar with new discoveries and bring it to a certain level, we will do the same with fuel. We will relieve our people by reducing taxes and making special subsidies to our tradesmen and farmers.”
