Erdogan will remotely connect to the ceremony in Akkuyu

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan canceled his travels today, as he did yesterday, after the illness he experienced on live broadcast on Tuesday evening.

Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant in Mersin will attain the status of nuclear power plant today with the delivery of the first fuel. Erdogan will be connected remotely to this ceremony, which he previously planned to attend physically, due to his illness.

Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun shared the screenshots of the allegations in some accounts regarding Erdogan’s health and said, “We firmly reject these baseless claims about the health of our President, Mr. Altun stated that Erdogan will attend today’s ceremony via video conference.
