Eti Bakır is establishing a facility in Elazig with an investment of 350 million dollars

In the statement made by Eti Bakır, it was stated that an average of 1 million tons of copper ore will be processed every year in the new facility, which is under construction with an investment of 350 million dollars in Elazig.

Eti Bakır Elazığ Operations Manager Cem Yüceer, whose views are included in the statement, said, “We will process an average of 1 million tons of copper ore annually in the facility we plan in Elazig. With our production here, we will contribute 200 million dollars every year to the closure of the current account deficit.”

Yüceer pointed out that three of their facilities are in Siirt, Mardin and Adıyaman, and now they will carry their mining experience and knowledge to Elazığ.

Emphasizing that exploration, development and installation activities are still continuing in the mining area, Yüceer said:

“We will employ approximately 750 people in our business to be established in the area that will consist of an underground exploration gallery, well, tower, factories, management and social facilities. As in all our facilities, our priority in employment will be the people living in the region.
