Foreign loan debt of the private sector reached 155 billion dollars

As of the end of May, the total loan debt of the private sector from abroad decreased by 2.5 billion dollars compared to the end of 2022 and became 155.4 billion dollars.

Compared to the end of 2022, long-term loan debt decreased by 3.3 billion dollars to 146.4 billion dollars, while short-term loan debt excluding commercial loans increased by 849 million dollars to 9 billion dollars.

The principal repayments to be made within 1 year amounted to a total of 40.9 billion dollars.
