Foreigner sold 357 million dollars of shares in 3 weeks

The Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey has published its securities statistics. Accordingly, foreigners sold 135.1 million dollars of shares in the week of May 12. In the same period, sales of 31.3 million dollars were realized on the bond side.

According to the statistics published weekly by the CBRT, foreigners continued their selling series on the stock side in the week of May 12.

According to the CBRT data, the sales series that started in the week of April 28 continued in the week of May 12.

While the foreign investor sold 178.4 million dollars of shares in the week of April 28, it sold 43.9 million dollars in the week of May 5. Thus, foreigners sold a total of 357.4 million dollars of net shares in the last three weeks.

Net share sales by foreigners since the beginning of the year had exceeded the $1 billion mark in the week of May 5. With the sales realized in the week of May 12, net share sales reached 1 billion 142 million dollars.
