Green debt instrument application from İşbank to CMB

İşbank applied to the CMB regarding the issuance of green debt instruments.

In the statement made by the Bank to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the Bank’s Board of Directors announced that on May 16, 2023, up to a nominal value of 3 billion TL, without being offered to the public, by sales to qualified investors in the country, with different amounts, maturities and interests in TL. It was reminded that the Capital Markets Board decided to issue green and/or sustainable debt instruments within the scope of “Green Debt Instrument, Sustainable Debt Instrument, Green Lease Certificate, Sustainable Lease Certificate Guide”.

In the statement, it was stated that it was announced that the General Directorate was authorized to determine all the conditions related to the issuances to be made through sales to qualified investors and to fulfill the transactions before the relevant authorities.
