Longest purchase series of 2 years from foreign stock

The CBRT released its securities statistics. Accordingly, foreign investors bought shares worth 152.53 million dollars in the week of July 14. In the same period, sales of 26.5 million dollars were realized on the bond side.

While foreigners carried the purchase series on the stock side to the sixth week, the net purchase amount was 1.48 billion in this period.

When the weekly data released by the bank is analyzed, it is observed that non-residents made purchases on the stock side for the first time since May 2021 for six consecutive weeks.

In the period between the week of April 23, 2021 and the week of May 28, 2021, foreign investors bought $ 333.2 million shares in six weeks.

According to the data of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, while the interest of foreign investors continued strongly after the election period, the net share purchase amount reached 1.5 billion dollars in this period.
