Memur-Sen wanted a raise in salaries

Evaluating the inflation data announced by TURKSTAT, Memur-Sen Chairman Ali Yalçın stated that the inflation rate for March 2023 is 2.29 percent, the 3-month inflation rate for January-March is 12.52 percent and the inflation difference is 4.19 percent, and pointed out that the salaries are melting.

Yalçın, who published a written statement from his social media account, said, “The resulting table; It shows that salaries/wages have melted, losses will increase, and that improvements should be made to compensate for the losses.”

Reminding that Memur-Sen wanted the improvement to be given over the increase in the collective agreement to be given as welfare share, Yalçın said, “Considering the lowest civil servant salary, our public servants’ justified expectations should be seen, and the improvement should be implemented.”
