Minimum wage statement from Vice President Yılmaz

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made a statement to the press after the opening of the METU Alumni Association Foundation Mansion.

Regarding the minimum wage hike, Yılmaz said, “Negotiations will begin. Certain developments, economic developments, especially inflation, will be evaluated and a result will be achieved with a compromise.” said.

It was announced that the Minimum Wage Determination Commission will meet on 13 June to discuss the interim increase in the minimum wage.
