In a statement on his Twitter account, Minister of Commerce Ömer Bolat stated that they hosted Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipality, Rural Affairs and Housing of Saudi Arabia, and his accompanying delegation at the Ministry.
Stating that they evaluated the steps that can be taken to deepen relations within the scope of bilateral trade, mutual investments, contracting services, smart city technologies and Turkish companies’ activities in Saudi Arabia, Bolat said, “We will continue our efforts to further our relations with Saudi Arabia, which we have strong historical and cultural ties with, under the leadership of our President. We will continue,” he said.
Minister Bolat made a second post and stated that they met with Kemi Badenoch, the UK Minister of State for International Trade, and stated that they will continue to work together to further deepen commercial relations.
Bolat, in his post on his Twitter account, noted that they had a productive video conference with Badenoch.
Stating that they discussed the commercial relations between the two countries, Bolat said, “We discussed the steps we can take in the coming period to further develop our strong economic and commercial cooperation with the United Kingdom. We will continue to work together to further deepen our commercial relations.”
