According to the data announced by the Banks Association of Turkey, in January 2022, the top 5 provinces in which the highest number of bills were protested were Istanbul, Ankara, Konya, Izmir and Bursa, respectively. In terms of amount, 33 percent of the protested bills in Turkey were in Istanbul, followed by Ankara with 9 percent, Konya and Bursa with 6 percent, and Izmir with 5 percent.
