President Erdoğan: We will prevent price fluctuations in food

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan made a statement at the Turnkey Ceremony of Belpınar and Mesthüyük Villages in Gaziantep Nurdağı and Kahramanmaraş Türkoğlu Özbek Village Village Houses.

Expressing that they will present a new model with the Smart Village House project for farmers, Erdoğan stated that they aim to not leave any risky buildings in Istanbul in 5 years with the “Half of Us in Urban Transformation Campaign”, some of which are on-site and some in reserve areas.

Stating that they will support cattle and livestock breeding in family-type enterprises with the contracted production model, they will guarantee at least one minimum wage to each household, and said, “We will provide suitable conditional financing to those living in villages who want to demolish their existing houses and get a solid, safe, technology-supported house suitable for this model.”

By expanding contracted production, we will guarantee the producer’s income, ensure supply security, and prevent price fluctuations in food.

President Erdoğan said: “By strengthening the pressurized irrigation infrastructure in agricultural production, they will provide more yield and income per unit area, and announced that an important project will be put into use to reduce foreign dependency on nitrogen fertilizers used in agricultural production.
