Retirement holiday bonus announced
Bonuses that retirees receive twice a year, in Ramadan and Eid-al-Adha, have been increased from 1,100 TL to 2 thousand TL.
AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş announced that the amount of the holiday bonus given to the retired will be increased to 2 thousand liras.
Elitaş noted that the regulation on the subject will be included in the bag law.
Vedat Bilgin, Minister of Labor and Social Security, and Kazım Ergün, Chairman of the Turkish Pensioners’ Association (TÜED), met and talked about this issue.
Then, President Erdoğan announced that the lowest pensions would be increased from 5 thousand 500 liras to 7 thousand 500 liras, but he did not make a statement about the holiday bonuses.
On the other hand, the bag bill, which includes the regulation that increases the minimum pension to 7 thousand 500 TL, was presented to the Parliament. AK Party Group Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş said that the bag bill consists of a total of 16 articles.
