SGK lifted the liens in the disaster area

The Ministry of Labor and Social Security continues to implement many measures within the scope of studies for disaster areas after the earthquake.

The SGK decided to remove the liens on rights and receivables in the provinces affected by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquakes.

In this context, a total of 251,830 e-deposit liens in the region have been removed from the system. However, it was decided to postpone the pension liens until August 31, 2023.

In addition, due to the debts within the scope of postponement, the enforcement proceedings made in accordance with the provisions of the Law No. 6183 on the Collection of Public Claims will be stopped, and new enforcement proceedings will not be opened during the postponement period.

For the debts within the scope of the postponement, the sales transactions of the seized goods will not be carried out during the postponement, provided that the seizures on the movable or immovable goods that were previously attached remain.

Debts within the scope of postponement will be deferred and paid in installments for a maximum of 24 months within the scope of the sixth paragraph of Article 48 of the Law No. 6183, without any deferred interest and provided that other conditions specified in the relevant legislation are met.

Those who meet the conditions will benefit from incentives

The Institution requires employers in the provinces affected by the earthquake to submit their concise and premium service declarations for the months of January, February and March of this year at their workplaces in these provinces until 26 May 2023, to pay their debts past the legal payment deadline before 6 February and their deferred premium debts until 31 August 2023. He also announced that they will benefit from the incentives provided that they make payments.

Insurance holders with 4/b (BAĞ-KUR) in the region will continue to benefit from the incentives if they pay their debts before 6 February and their deferred premium debts until 31 August 2023.

GSS premium debts postponed until 31 August

The deadline for the unpaid premium debts of 1 million 786 thousand 658 General Health Insurance holders (GSS), whose premiums are paid by themselves, and the premium debts to be incurred until July 2023, has been updated as August 31, 2023. No delay penalty and late fee will be applied until 31 August for the overdue GSS premium debts before February 6th.
