Vice President Yılmaz: We will take steps to reduce inflation

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz made statements before the minimum wage meeting.

Stating that the Cabinet meeting is planned for the next Wednesday, Yılmaz said, “On Thursday, we will discuss our policies in the general framework with the Economy Coordination meeting. There will be important articles on monetary and fiscal policies in the MTP.” said.

Yılmaz stated that the issue of inflation is a priority, while implementing policies aimed at reducing inflation on the one hand, and on the other hand, they will implement policies aimed at minimizing the effects of inflation in large social segments.

“As we wrote in the election manifesto, we said that we would carry out various studies on minimum wage, employees and retirees in July. In this context, we have started to take steps.” Yılmaz said that they will start meetings about the minimum wage.
